About

Growing up, I always felt like there was a part of my story that hadn't been written yet, an unspoken connection to something larger and more profound than myself. This feeling has led me on a journey—a search for my indigenous heritage. My goal isn’t to seek membership in a tribe, benefits, or financial gain. It’s much simpler, yet deeply significant: I want the truth.

The truth of where I come from, the stories of my ancestors, the culture and traditions that may flow through my blood without me knowing. I believe that understanding my heritage is a way of honoring those who came before me and shaping how I move through the world. It’s not about proving anything to others but rather about gaining clarity and respect for the roots that have quietly shaped me.

This search is not without its challenges. Questions of identity, history, and belonging are complex and, at times, emotionally overwhelming. But in pursuing this truth, I feel a profound sense of purpose—like piecing together a puzzle where each discovery brings me closer to seeing a complete picture. Every fragment of information, every story uncovered, is a step toward not just understanding where I come from but also embracing who I am.

This journey isn’t just for me. It’s for my family, for those who came before me, and for the generations that may come after. The search for truth, for authenticity, is a way to honor the past and guide the future. And in this, I feel a connection to something timeless.
